Legal Templates by Amira Review: Are They Worth It for Bloggers?

This post contains affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you purchase through our links—at no extra cost to you. We only recommend blogging tools and resources that we personally use and genuinely trust. For more details, please read our full disclosure.
When my sister Linda and I started building Courier Wellness, we took things very slowly.
We bought our domain first, spent weeks trying to figure out hosting, and didn’t even publish our first blog post until months later.
But one purchase happened much earlier than everything else.
Another blogger mentioned that every website needed proper legal pages.
The moment I heard the word legal, I knew it was something we couldn’t ignore. Neither of us had any idea what pages we actually needed, but we knew we wanted to do things properly from the beginning.
So we made room in our budget and bought Amira’s Starter Bundle. We also picked up her Accessibility Bundle at the same time (I’ll explain why later in this review).
Looking back, it wasn’t the cheapest thing we bought while starting our blog, but it was one of the purchases I’ve never regretted.
In this review, I’ll share our experience using Amira’s legal templates, what we’ve personally used since 2022, and why we chose them over free legal templates.
Why We Decided It Was Worth It
When my sister first mentioned that websites needed legal pages, I wasn’t annoyed that it was another thing to buy.
I was more surprised that I hadn’t thought about it sooner.

After all, it made perfect sense.
If you were opening a physical business, you wouldn’t skip the legal side of things. Why should running an online business be any different?
So we made room in our budget and bought the templates.
Looking back, I think it was the right decision for a few reasons.
We Wanted to Do Things Properly
Neither of us knew much about website legal requirements back then.
What we did know was that we didn’t want to guess our way through something as important as legal documents.
Having professionally written templates meant we could launch knowing this part of our website had been taken care of.
The Templates Have Kept Up With Changing Laws
This is something I didn’t fully appreciate when we first bought them.
Since 2022, Amira has updated the templates to reflect changes in privacy laws, including new state privacy laws in the United States.
Because we bought the Starter Bundle, we’ve received those updates at no extra cost.
Looking back now, I’m even happier we invested in them. Trying to keep up with changing privacy laws ourselves would have been a nightmare.
It Let Us Focus on Building Our Website
Once our legal pages were in place, we could stop worrying about whether we’d forgotten something important and get back to building our website.
Well… at least until our budget hosting provider created a whole new set of problems.
But that’s a story for another day.

Why We Chose Amira’s Legal Templates
When we first started blogging, we spent a lot of time learning from experienced bloggers.
One of the creators we followed was By Sophia Lee. It was through her content that we first learned websites needed proper legal pages, and that’s also how we discovered Amira’s legal templates.
We’d already bought our WordPress theme from 17th Avenue Designs after one of Sophia’s recommendations, so we felt comfortable purchasing Amira’s templates as well.
The more we researched them, the more they seemed like the right fit for us.
What stood out was that they were:
- Written by a lawyer.
- Designed specifically for bloggers and online business owners.
- Easy to customize using step-by-step instructions.
- Regularly updated as privacy laws change.
Looking back after using them since 2022, I think we made the right decision.
The biggest surprise wasn’t how easy they were to set up—it was how valuable the free updates turned out to be.
Privacy laws have changed quite a bit over the past few years, and knowing our templates have kept up without us having to rewrite everything ourselves has been worth every penny.

The Legal Templates We Bought
When Linda and I first started Courier Wellness, we had no idea how many legal pages a website needed.
After learning more about website legal requirements, we decided to focus on the essentials first.
Privacy Policy
A Privacy Policy was the first thing we knew we needed.
Even before we published our first blog post, we knew we’d eventually be:
- Collecting email addresses
- Using analytics
- Recommending products
Having a proper Privacy Policy in place before launching just felt like the right thing to do.
If you’re starting a blog today, I’d recommend making this one of your first legal pages.
Disclaimer
Since we planned to recommend products and use affiliate links, we also needed a Disclaimer.
Being transparent with our readers has always been important to us, and we wanted to clearly explain that we may earn a commission if someone purchases through one of our links.
Terms & Conditions
The third template we bought was Terms & Conditions.
While this page isn’t legally required in every situation, we liked having clear rules for how our website and content could be used.
Looking back, I still think it was worth including from day one.
Our Recommendation
We bought Amira’s Starter Legal Bundle, and it included everything we needed to get started.
must-have

Starter Legal Bundle
This is the bundle Linda and I chose when we started Courier Wellness, and it’s one purchase we’ve never regretted.
My sister and I have been using these templates since 2022, and I still think it was one of the smartest purchases we made when starting our website.
If you’re curious how Linda and I spent our blogging budget during our first year, we’ve shared everything in this post.
The Upgrade We Never Expected
When we bought the Starter Legal Bundle, we genuinely thought we were finished.
- Privacy Policy? Done.
- Disclaimer? Done.
- Terms & Conditions? Done.
Perfect.
Or so we thought.
Then, right in the middle of checkout, a video suddenly popped up of Amira explaining why website accessibility matters.
Linda and I just looked at each other thinking…
“Wait… there’s another thing we need?
I’ll admit, the video completely caught us off guard. We hadn’t even heard anyone talking about website accessibility before, so suddenly we were wondering if we’d overlooked something important.
In the end, we decided to add the Accessibility Bundle to our order. It was offered at a discounted price, which made the decision easier.
Looking back now, I’m really glad we made that decision.
Why It Changed the Way I Think About Accessibility
One thing from the Accessibility Bundle has stayed with me ever since.
As I worked through the resources, I watched a training video that was shown in three different ways.
The first version was just a normal video. There were lots of visual jokes and things happening in the background, and it all made perfect sense.
Then I watched the same video again without being able to see any of the visuals.
Suddenly, almost nothing made sense.
Finally, I watched a version with audio descriptions that explained what was happening on screen, and everything clicked again.
That simple exercise completely changed how I think about website accessibility.
Before then, I’d never really considered what it was like for someone who couldn’t see everything happening on a webpage or in a video.
Since then, I’ve tried to make our website as accessible as I can. I’m sure it’s not perfect, and I’m always learning, but it’s something I genuinely care about now in a way I didn’t before.
Our Recommendation
If you’re building a blog or online business today, I think the Accessibility Bundle is well worth considering alongside the Starter Bundle.
For us, it wasn’t just about adding another legal page.
It helped us better understand accessibility and encouraged us to think about making our website more inclusive from the very beginning.

This bundle completely changed the way I think about website accessibility, and I’m glad we added it when we launched our blog.
Why We Added an AI Disclaimer
The only legal template we added later was an AI Disclaimer.
Like many bloggers, we now use AI tools as part of our workflow, so we wanted to be transparent about how AI is used on our website.
Since AI is evolving so quickly, having a dedicated AI Disclaimer felt like a sensible addition.
Our Recommendation
If you use AI to help create or edit your content, I’d recommend adding an AI Disclaimer to your website as well.
It’s a simple way to be transparent with your readers while keeping your legal pages up to date.
essential

AI Content Disclaimer Template
This was the latest addition to our legal pages. As AI became part of our workflow, we wanted to be transparent with our readers from the very beginning.
One of the reasons we added it was that AI is evolving incredibly quickly.
Between changing expectations around transparency and ongoing discussions about copyright and AI-generated content, we felt it was better to be proactive than wait until we needed to make changes later.

The Next Legal Template on Our List
Even though Linda and I don’t sell digital products yet, there’s one more legal template we already know we’ll be buying when we do.
It’s the Copyright & Disclaimer Template.
When we eventually create ebooks, guides, or other digital products, we want to make sure they’re properly protected from the start.
Just like we didn’t want to guess our way through our website’s legal pages, we don’t want to guess when it comes to protecting the products we spend time creating.
When that day comes, this is the template we’ll be using.
Our Recommendation
If you’re already selling digital products—or you’re planning to in the near future—I think this template is well worth considering.
It helps you protect your work while setting clear expectations for your customers right from the beginning.

The next legal template we’ll be buying when we launch our own digital products. It helps protect your work and set clear expectations for your customers.
As Your Business Grows
When Linda and I started our blog, the Starter Legal Bundle was exactly what we needed.
We weren’t selling digital products, working with brands, or hiring freelancers yet, so buying one of the larger bundles wouldn’t have made much sense.
As your business grows, though, that can change.
If you’re regularly working with clients, collaborating with brands, hiring freelancers, or offering services, it may be more cost-effective to buy one of Amira’s larger legal bundles instead of purchasing templates individually.
The Premium Legal Bundle is a great option for established bloggers and online business owners who need additional contracts for client work and collaborations.
The VIP Legal Bundle is designed for businesses with more complex legal needs and includes a wide range of contracts and agreements.
If you know you’ll use many of the included templates, buying the bundle can offer better value than purchasing them separately.
What If You Need More Help?
For most new bloggers, I think the Starter Legal Bundle is more than enough to get started.
But if your website has grown over the years or you’d simply like a legal professional to review everything you’ve set up, Amira also offers a Website Legal Audit.
Linda and I haven’t used this service ourselves, so I can’t speak from personal experience.
However, I like that it’s available if you ever reach the point where you’d rather have an expert review your website than try to figure everything out on your own.

Who I Think These Legal Templates Are Best For
After using Amira’s legal templates since 2022, I think they’re a great fit if you:
- Want to launch your website with the right legal pages in place.
- Don’t want to piece together legal information from dozens of different sources.
- Prefer professionally written templates that are updated as privacy laws change.
- Want clear instructions instead of trying to figure everything out yourself.
- See your blog or online business as a long-term investment.
Final Thoughts
Looking back, buying Amira’s legal templates was one of the smartest decisions Linda and I made when we started Courier Wellness.
At the time, it felt like a big purchase.
Today, I hardly think about what we paid—but I do appreciate everything we’ve received in return.
The templates have been updated as privacy laws have changed, we’ve been able to customize them as our websites have grown, and we’ve even used them on the other websites we’ve launched since then.
Being able to use the same templates across multiple websites has made the original investment even more worthwhile.
It’s one of the very few blogging purchases we’ve made that I’ve never regretted.
If you’re serious about building a website, I think getting your legal pages in place before you start publishing content is one of the smartest things you can do.
